Warranty Registration & Claims

All new awnings from StandArt Caravans are sold with a minimum 12-month manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing faults.

Some brands — including Fiamma, Westfield and Camptech — offer extended warranty schemes, which may require separate product registration directly with the manufacturer to activate.

If your awning has developed a fault during normal use, use the form below to start your claim. We’ll collect your details and evidence and pass them directly to the manufacturer for assessment.

Note: if you purchased directly from a manufacturer outlet or trade show (rather than from StandArt Caravans), your claim must be handled directly with that manufacturer.

How a Warranty Claim Works

  • Check you’re covered — review what’s included and excluded below.
  • Gather your evidence — photos and a description of the fault (see checklist below).
  • Submit the form — upload your photos and details in one go.
  • We forward your claim — sent directly to the manufacturer for assessment.
  • Manufacturer decision — most claims are resolved with a repair or replacement.

What's Covered

Manufacturing faults that appear during normal use of your awning are covered under warranty. Each manufacturer assesses claims individually and has its own specific policy — see the “Manufacturer T&Cs” section below for brand-specific terms.

What's Not Covered

Claims are typically not accepted where the damage is caused by:

  • Adverse weather — we strongly recommend adding your awning to your caravan/motorhome insurance policy, as storm and weather damage isn’t covered under manufacturer warranty.
  • Improper use — for example, using a touring awning as a permanent seasonal pitch awning.
  • Incorrect pitching — including over-stretching or under-tensioning the canvas, or incorrect pole positioning that affects stability or water-tightness.

Before You Submit — What You'll Need

To avoid delays, please have the following ready:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase
  • A photo showing the full awning setup, from the front, left, and right sides
  • Close-up photos of the affected/damaged area
  • A written description of the problem you’re experiencing

Important Things to Know

  • Wrong size purchased: if you didn’t use our StandArt Fitment Guarantee and your awning has been removed from the box, pitched, or used, it’s no longer classed as brand new. We can only offer up to 70% of your original purchase value in this case.
  • Return for inspection: the manufacturer may ask for the awning to be sent back to them if the fault can’t be assessed from photos alone.
  • Outcome: approved claims result in a repair or replacement only — not a refund. A replacement is only sent once we’ve received your returned item.

Approved Used Awnings

Claims on Approved Used awnings are assessed individually, based on your specific circumstances and the product purchased — using fair and reasonable business practice as our standard.
