Delivery & Collection
We offer free postage on all orders above £100, so delivery of your new awning is free of charge.
For your part exchange:
- Free collection of your old awning from your home address (UK mainland)
- Collection completed in person (subject to availability & location) or via ParcelForce 48 Large Collection Service
- Packages must be under 30kg and up to 1.5m long
- Multiple packages are welcome if your awning cannot be safely packed into one
Package Insurance:
- Before arranging collection, we require proof of how your awning has been packaged. Collected parcels are insured up to £500.00 against loss or damage. We must be able to demonstrate that any issue occurred during transit due to courier mishandling—not inadequate packaging.
- We would require a proof of how the anwing has been packaged, before we can arrange courier collection. Any collected parcels are covered up to a maximum value of £500.00 in the event of loss or damage, however we need to be able to proof this has happened during transit, due to mishandling, rather than as a result of poor or inadequate packaging.
Inspection and Valuation times:
From receiving your awning in our workshop, we expect to produce a condition report and give you an estimate of what you can expect as a payout within 5-7 working days. Please note, this is an estimate and in during peak season subject to change.
Notification of how the part exchange actually works with regards to finances.
1. Our initial estimate would be based solely on the description of your awning in our contact form.
2. You will be required to pay the full price of your new awning upfront (this is also to justify we have sold the awning to you at the Set Retail Prices and not as a discounted or second hand awning and as per our the authorised dealer agreement. This will also enable you as the end consumer to take full advantage the standard and any extended warranty terms available from the manufacturer.
3. After we receive your Old Awning, we will fully inspect the condition and detail any need for repairs and alterations. We reserve the right to adjust our initial evaluation in line with the actual condition of the awning. You will be kept informed on the progress and have the final call, before we proceed with any remedial work on your awning.
4. In the rare cases where we find severe discrepancies between the description and the actual condition of the awning, we may refuse to process your Part Exchange offer. In these circumstance you are welcome to arrange collection of your old awning from us, or alternatively, we can pack and post it back to you at a cost of £17.40+VAT per parcel
