Whether you’re enjoying a relaxing weekend in the countryside or settling into your favourite seasonal caravan site, the President 250 creates a welcoming extension to your caravan. Its generous 250cm depth provides plenty of room for comfortable seating, family dining and enjoying the outdoors while staying sheltered from the unpredictable British weather.

Manufactured in Europe using premium TenCate All Season coated-polyester fabrics, the President 250 combines quality materials with practical features, including a sturdy 28mm EasyGrip steel frame, removable front and side panels and built-in ventilation.

This particular Size 17 model fits caravans requiring an A-measurement of 1050–1075cm, making it an excellent choice for owners looking for a spacious, traditional full caravan awning.

Premium TenCate All Season Fabric – Made for Outdoor Living

When choosing a caravan awning, the quality of the fabric makes all the difference.

The Dorema President 250 features a roof manufactured from TenCate All Season coated polyester, complemented by specialist DormaTex TenCate All Season coated-polyester side walls.

These carefully selected materials are designed for outdoor awning use, offering practical weather protection and durability when properly maintained.

The roof also features an attractive printed interior pattern, adding a welcoming finishing touch to your living space.

Finished in a contemporary charcoal and grey colour combination, the President 250 complements a wide range of modern and traditional caravans.

Spacious 250cm Depth – More Room to Relax

One of the greatest benefits of a full caravan awning is having somewhere comfortable to spend time outside your caravan.

With its 250cm depth, the President 250 provides a generous sheltered area that can be arranged to suit your camping lifestyle.

There is space for a dining table and chairs, a comfortable seating area or everyday camping essentials, allowing you to keep your caravan interior less cluttered.

Whether you’re sharing a meal with family, enjoying a morning coffee or relaxing after a day exploring the countryside, this full awning helps make your caravan pitch feel more like home.

Strong 28mm EasyGrip Steel Frame – Built for Stability

The President 250 is supplied with a substantial 28mm EasyGrip steel frame, offering a sturdy structure for traditional caravan awning pitching.

The EasyGrip locking system makes it easier to adjust and secure the poles during setup, helping you achieve the correct frame tension without traditional screw-type clamps.

For caravanners who enjoy longer stays, the 28mm steel framework is particularly useful, as Dorema recommends this stronger frame option for seasonal pitching.

Canopy poles are also supplied as standard, adding further practicality to the awning’s design.

When pitched correctly and maintained according to the manufacturer’s guidance, the President 250 offers a dependable outdoor living area for your caravan holidays.

Removable Front & Side Panels – Enjoy a Flexible Setup

Every caravan holiday is different, which is why flexibility is such an important part of a good awning design.

The Dorema President 250 features two front panels and two side panels, with each panel incorporating its own doorway.

The front panels can be rolled down or completely zipped out, allowing you to create a more open, airy space when the weather is pleasant.

Both side panels offer similar flexibility, giving you convenient access and the freedom to adjust your awning layout.

This adaptable design makes it easier to enjoy an enclosed living space when you want shelter or a more open arrangement during warm, sunny days.

Practical Ventilation for Greater Comfort

A comfortable caravan awning needs more than just space – good airflow also makes a difference.

The President 250 incorporates a front apex ventilation opening together with partial fly-screen sections in both side panels.

These features help promote airflow while allowing you to enjoy fresh air without leaving every panel completely open.

The side fly screens are particularly useful during warmer weather, when increased ventilation can help make your awning more comfortable.

Correct ventilation, pitching and maintenance also help manage condensation during everyday use.

QuickLock Pads & SafeLock System Compatibility

Dorema has incorporated several practical features to make pitching and securing the President 250 more convenient.

QuickLock pads are included, providing convenient frame attachment points without the need for conventional screw-type fittings against the caravan.

The awning also features Dorema’s SafeLock attachment system, allowing you to fit a compatible SafeLock storm strap kit when required.

These features add convenience for caravanners looking for a well-designed, traditional full awning.

Please note: The SafeLock storm strap kit is an optional accessory and is not included unless specifically advertised as part of the offer.

Designed for Touring Holidays & Seasonal Caravan Pitches

The Dorema President 250 has been developed for caravanners who appreciate quality, comfort and flexibility.

Whether you’re exploring different UK campsites or enjoying an extended stay on a seasonal pitch, this awning provides a welcoming additional living area.

The TenCate All Season fabric and 28mm steel frame make it particularly well suited to seasonal use during the manufacturer’s recommended pitching period.

For seasonal installations, Dorema recommends checking your caravan’s A-measurement at the actual pitch, particularly where decking or different ground levels could affect the required size.

The President 250 is intended for touring and seasonal conditions and should not be treated as a specialist winter awning.

Size 17 Caravan Awning – 1050–1075cm A-Measurement

Choosing the correct awning size is essential for achieving a secure and comfortable fit.

The 2023 Dorema President 250 Size 17 is designed for caravans with an A-measurement of 1050–1075cm.

Your caravan’s A-measurement is the distance from the ground on one side, up and along the complete awning rail, and back down to the ground on the opposite side.

This measurement is different from the caravan’s overall length.

If you’re unsure which size your caravan requires, our team at StandArt Caravans can help you check compatibility using your caravan’s make, model and year.

Optional Accessories to Enhance Your Awning

The President 250 is compatible with a range of Dorema accessories, allowing you to personalise your campsite setup.

Available options include:

• Dorema Annex or Annex De Luxe for additional space
• Compatible inner tent for extra sleeping accommodation
• Dorema SafeLock storm strap kit
• Additional roof support and storm poles
• Veranda pole for alternative front-panel configurations
• Starlon awning carpet
• Compatible Palma awning canopy

A lightweight FibreTech Plus EasyGrip frame was also available as an alternative, although Dorema does not recommend it for seasonal pitching.

Optional accessories and upgrades are sold separately unless specifically included in the advertised package.
