Tried on Caravan • Factory-Folded Panels • Brand-New Accessories

Make more room for memorable caravan holidays with the 2023 Dorema Daytona 240 Size 15 Full Caravan Awning. A popular traditional touring awning, the Daytona combines generous living space, quality European materials and a sturdy steel frame in a practical design that’s ideal for exploring the UK.

This particular awning has been tried on a caravan for fitting, with its panels remaining factory-folded and all accessories supplied brand new. It’s an excellent opportunity to purchase a quality Dorema awning at a reduced price.

With a spacious 240cm depth, a 25mm EasyGrip steel frame and removable front and side panels, the Daytona 240 provides a comfortable extension to your caravan, whether you’re enjoying a weekend in the countryside or a family holiday by the coast.

This Size 15 model is designed for caravans with an A-measurement of 1000–1025cm.

A Special-Price Awning with Brand-New Accessories

If you’re looking for a quality full caravan awning without paying the usual price, this 2023 Daytona 240 is well worth considering.

The awning has been tried on a caravan to check its fit, rather than being supplied as an untouched, factory-sealed unit. Its panels remain factory-folded, and the accessories supplied with it are brand new.

That makes it an attractive choice for caravanners looking for a traditional Dorema touring awning at a competitive price.

Special Offer: £992 – Reduced from £1,149. Save £157.

Spacious 240cm Depth for Comfortable Caravan Living

One of the best things about a full caravan awning is the freedom to enjoy more living space during your holiday.

With its 240cm depth, the Dorema Daytona provides room for a dining table, comfortable camping chairs and the everyday essentials you’d rather keep outside your caravan.

It’s a welcoming place to enjoy your morning coffee, share meals with family or relax after exploring the local area.

The full-awning design follows your caravan’s awning rail, helping you make good use of the available space alongside your caravan.

Whether you’re away for a few nights or planning a longer touring holiday, the Daytona gives you the flexibility to enjoy your campsite more comfortably.

Quality European Touring Fabrics

The 2023 Daytona 240 is manufactured using carefully selected fabrics designed for touring caravan use.

The roof features European touring-quality coated polyester, while the walls use TenCate touring-quality coated polyester.

These materials provide practical weather protection and are designed for the regular pitching and packing away associated with caravan touring.

The charcoal and grey colour scheme gives the awning a smart, understated appearance that complements a wide range of modern and traditional caravans.

With Dorema’s established European manufacturing standards, the Daytona 240 offers a reassuring combination of quality materials and practical construction.

Strong 25mm EasyGrip Steel Frame

A dependable framework is an important part of any traditional caravan awning.

The Daytona 240 comes with a 25mm EasyGrip steel frame, offering a sturdy structure for touring holidays.

Dorema’s EasyGrip locking clamps make it easier to adjust and secure the poles when pitching, helping you achieve the correct frame tension.

The Size 15 framework also includes additional roof support poles and front legs, providing the extra support specified for larger awning sizes.

For caravanners who prefer the familiar feel and adjustability of a traditional poled awning, the Daytona offers a practical and well-designed setup.

Removable Front Panels for Flexible Living

The Daytona 240 features two front panels, each fitted with a doorway.

Both panels can be rolled down or completely zipped out, allowing you to adjust the front of your awning to suit the weather.

Keep the panels closed when you want a sheltered living area, or remove them to create a more open setting on warmer days.

This flexibility is particularly useful during British caravan holidays, when sunshine and showers can arrive on the same afternoon.

Removable Side Panels with Convenient Access

Both side panels also incorporate a doorway and can be completely zipped out.

This gives you convenient access and makes it easier to arrange your campsite furniture and equipment.

The removable side panels also allow a compatible Dorema annex to be fitted when additional enclosed space is needed.

Whether you’re organising a family camping setup or enjoying a quieter break, the adaptable panel arrangement makes the Daytona easy to live with.

Practical Ventilation and Fly Screen

A comfortable awning needs good airflow, particularly during warmer weather.

The Daytona 240 features a front apex ventilation opening and a partial fly-screen section on one side panel.

These features allow fresh air to circulate when opened appropriately, helping make the living space more pleasant during everyday use.

The fly screen is particularly useful when you want additional ventilation while helping keep flying insects outside.

Correct ventilation also helps manage condensation, especially when the weather changes.

QuickLock Pads and SafeLock Compatibility

The Daytona includes Dorema’s practical QuickLock pads, designed to make attaching the frame to the caravan more convenient.

It also features SafeLock attachment fittings for use with a compatible optional storm strap kit.

These systems are designed to make traditional awning pitching and securing more straightforward.

The separate SafeLock storm strap kit is an optional accessory and should not be assumed to be included unless specifically advertised.

Designed for Touring Caravan Holidays

The Dorema Daytona 240 is designed for caravanners who enjoy visiting different campsites and exploring new destinations.

Its touring-quality fabrics, traditional steel framework and adaptable panels make it a practical choice for regular caravan holidays and short breaks.

The manufacturer’s 2023 guidance recommends the Daytona for touring rather than continuous seasonal pitching.

For the best results, always follow Dorema’s instructions for pitching, securing, drying and storing your awning.

Size 15 – Suitable for 1000–1025cm A-Measurements

The 2023 Dorema Daytona 240 Size 15 is designed for caravans with an A-measurement between 1000cm and 1025cm.

To find your caravan’s A-measurement, measure from ground level on one side, up and along the complete awning rail, then back down to the ground on the opposite side.

This is different from your caravan’s overall body length.

Taking the correct measurement is essential for achieving a comfortable fit and properly tensioned awning.

If you’re unsure whether Size 15 is right for your caravan, contact StandArt Caravans with your caravan’s make, model and year for assistance.
