Whether you’re planning a family holiday by the coast, a relaxing countryside escape or a few nights at your favourite caravan park, the Daytona 240 gives you somewhere comfortable to dine, unwind and enjoy time together.

Featuring a spacious 240cm depth, quality European touring fabrics and a sturdy 25mm EasyGrip steel frame, the Daytona offers an excellent balance of comfort, practicality and value.

Its removable front and side panels make it easy to adapt your setup to the weather, while built-in ventilation helps create a pleasant living environment.

This Size 17 model is designed for caravans with an A-measurement of 1050–1075cm.

Spacious 240cm Depth – Enjoy More Living Space

One of the greatest advantages of a full caravan awning is the extra room it provides throughout your holiday.

With its generous 240cm depth, the Dorema Daytona creates a welcoming extension alongside your caravan, offering space for dining furniture, comfortable camping chairs and everyday essentials.

It’s ideal for enjoying breakfast together, relaxing with a book or sitting down after a day exploring the local area.

Having a separate living area also helps keep your caravan interior tidy, with somewhere convenient to store footwear, outdoor accessories and other camping equipment.

Whether you’re travelling as a couple or with the family, the Daytona 240 gives you more freedom to enjoy your campsite in comfort.

Quality European Touring Fabrics

The Daytona 240 is made using carefully selected materials designed for regular caravan touring.

The roof features European touring-quality coated polyester, while the side walls use TenCate touring-quality coated polyester.

These materials provide practical weather protection when the awning is correctly pitched and maintained, making them suitable for the changing conditions often experienced on UK caravan holidays.

The fabric construction is designed for caravanners who enjoy travelling between campsites and need an awning that can be pitched, taken down and stored between trips.

Finished in a smart charcoal and grey colour scheme, the Daytona 240 complements a wide range of modern and traditional caravans.

Strong 25mm EasyGrip Steel Frame

A dependable framework is essential for a traditional full caravan awning.

The 2023 Daytona 240 comes with a 25mm EasyGrip steel frame, providing a sturdy structure for touring holidays.

Dorema’s EasyGrip locking clamps make pole adjustment and tensioning more convenient during pitching, helping you secure the framework without traditional screw-type clamps.

The larger Size 17 configuration also includes additional roof support poles and front legs, providing the support required for the wider awning.

For caravanners who prefer a traditional poled awning, this framework offers the familiar strength and adjustability of steel construction.

Removable Front Panels for Flexible Living

The Daytona 240 features two front panels, each incorporating a doorway.

Both panels can be rolled down or completely zipped out, allowing you to change the layout according to the weather and how you want to use your awning.

On cooler days, keep the panels fitted to enjoy a sheltered living space.

When the sun comes out, opening or removing the front panels creates a more airy arrangement, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors while making use of the awning roof.

It’s a particularly useful feature for British caravan holidays, where the weather can change throughout the day.

Removable Side Panels with Convenient Access

Both side panels incorporate a doorway and can be completely zipped out.

The flexible design provides convenient access and allows you to arrange your furniture and camping equipment to suit your pitch.

Removing a side panel also allows a compatible optional Dorema annex to be fitted when additional enclosed space is needed.

Whether you’re creating a family dining area or simply want more flexibility around your caravan, the removable panel arrangement makes the Daytona comfortable and practical to use.

Built-In Ventilation and Side Fly Screen

Good ventilation makes a real difference to comfort inside a caravan awning.

The Daytona 240 features a front apex ventilation opening and a partial fly screen in one side panel.

These features help fresh air circulate when opened appropriately, making the awning more pleasant during warmer weather.

The fly screen also helps keep flying insects outside while allowing additional airflow.

Combined with correct pitching and everyday ventilation, these features can help manage condensation during your caravan holiday.

QuickLock Pads and SafeLock Compatibility

The Daytona 240 includes Dorema’s practical QuickLock pads, designed to make attaching the frame to your caravan more convenient.

The awning also features SafeLock attachment fittings, allowing a compatible storm strap kit to be added when required.

These systems help make pitching and securing your awning more straightforward.

The separate SafeLock storm strap kit is an optional accessory and is not included unless specifically advertised with the product.

Designed for Touring Caravan Holidays

The Dorema Daytona 240 is designed for caravanners who enjoy travelling, discovering new destinations and spending their holidays at different campsites.

Its touring-quality fabrics, sturdy steel framework and removable panels offer a practical combination for regular touring use.

Whether you’re heading away for a long weekend or enjoying a family holiday, the Daytona gives you a comfortable additional living area without moving to a more expensive full-awning range.

The manufacturer recommends the Daytona 240 for touring rather than continuous seasonal pitching.

For the best performance, always follow Dorema’s guidance for pitching, securing, drying and storing your awning.

Size 17 – Suitable for Caravans with a 1050–1075cm A-Measurement

The 2023 Dorema Daytona 240 Size 17 is designed for caravans with an A-measurement between 1050cm and 1075cm.

The A-measurement is taken from the ground on one side of your caravan, up and along the complete awning rail, then back down to the ground on the opposite side.

This is different from the caravan’s overall length.

Choosing the correct size is important for achieving a properly fitted awning with the right tension across the roof and panels.
