Why You Will Love the Dorema Daytona 240
A caravan holiday is all about enjoying the freedom of the outdoors, but having somewhere comfortable to relax can make the experience even better. The Dorema Daytona 240 adds a generous sheltered area alongside your caravan, giving you more room to enjoy everyday holiday activities. Its 240cm depth makes it practical for a family dining table, comfortable camping chairs, footwear and other campsite essentials.Enjoy breakfast while planning your day, unwind with a cup of tea after exploring or spend a relaxing evening together without feeling restricted to the caravan interior.
Discover Quality European Touring Fabrics
The Daytona 240 has been designed with touring caravanners in mind, using carefully selected coated-polyester fabrics to provide reliable performance throughout your holidays. The roof is manufactured from European touring-quality coated polyester, while the side walls feature TenCate touring-quality coated polyester. This combination provides practical weather protection for normal touring conditions while offering the flexibility needed for an awning that will be pitched and packed away regularly.
The smart charcoal and grey colour scheme gives the Daytona 240 a contemporary appearance that complements many caravan styles. Whether you’re heading away for a few nights or enjoying a longer touring holiday, the Daytona offers an inviting place to relax and enjoy your pitch.
Equipped with a Strong 25mm EasyGrip Steel Frame
A good caravan awning needs a dependable framework, and the Daytona 240 comes with a 25mm EasyGrip steel frame as standard. The steel poles create a sturdy traditional structure, while Dorema’s EasyGrip locking system helps make frame adjustment and tensioning more convenient during pitching.
The Size 18 configuration also benefits from the additional frame supports specified for the larger Daytona awning sizes, helping provide appropriate support across the wider structure.
Flexible Front Panels – Make the Space Your Own
One of the standout features of the Dorema Daytona 240 is its flexible front-panel design.
Both front panels incorporate a doorway and can be rolled down or completely zipped out, allowing you to adapt the awning to your surroundings. On cooler or breezier days, keeping the panels fitted helps create a sheltered living area.
When the weather is pleasant, opening or removing the panels allows you to enjoy a more airy and open setting. This flexibility is particularly useful during British caravan holidays, where the weather can change throughout the day.
Built-In Ventilation for Comfortable Touring
Fresh air and effective ventilation can make a real difference to your comfort inside a caravan awning.
The Dorema Daytona 240 includes front apex ventilation and a partial fly-screen section on one side panel. The fly screen allows additional airflow while helping keep flying insects outside when the relevant panel is opened. Together, these features offer practical ways to ventilate the awning during warmer weather and help manage condensation.
Whether you’re spending a sunny afternoon relaxing inside or enjoying an evening at the campsite, the Daytona’s ventilation features contribute to a more pleasant environment.
