📏 Measuring for a Full Caravan Awning

Your caravan’s A-measurement is the key to finding the correct size full awning. This ensures a snug, weatherproof fit that maximises your comfort and space.

  🛠️ How To Measure
  (Step-by-Step – The Hard Version)

  • Park your caravan on level ground.
  • Thread a string (ideally 10m+)  through the entire awning rail from one end to the other.
  • Keep your fingers crossed, you measured correctly.

📏 Porch Awnings are more flexible.

However a bit of careful consideration will pay off with a perfect fitting Porch Caravan Awning and years of Hassle Free Camping!

🛠️ How To Measure and What to Look Out For

  • Height from ground to awning rail (H)
Typically between 235–250 cm for most UK caravans.
  • Length of the straight section of the caravan awning rail (L)
  • Position of Windows & Doors to ensure good seal and weatherproof camping.
